Lucia Chuquillanqui is a Peruvian International Development Professional with over eight years of experience developing and implementing projects in Latin America and the United States in the field of advocacy, gender, environmental policy, communications, and recently in women's health solutions. She works at the World Wildlife Fund promoting optimal institutional frameworks in gender and biodiversity conservation for the Global Environmental Fund (GEF). By conducting best practices research and data synthesis, Lucia has honed her skills in self-direction, reporting, and diplomacy. In 2016, she co-founded Malquerida, an award-winning virtual journalism project that empowers Peruvian women to develop and share their stories and research. Additionally, she is a member of Chicas Poderosas, a global community that promotes female leadership and generates knowledge and best practices about gender equality.
